Finding whatever talents we have is indeed more difficult with advancing years, but is often fulfilling and always a challenge.

After a very long break I have recently re-discovered the desire to paint, along with the many still unanswered questions.

Where can I learn to paint? What materials do I need? What makes an interesting and emotive painting? What can I do to improve?

I have found that there are no easy answers.

The important thing is to know where we want our painting to take us.
